Main Purpose of Job

To work within the Workforce Transformation team, alongside more seasoned Consultants and Engagement Managers as a Senior Manager/Manager level role performing tasks related to resource planning, project management of the transformation and administration of the governance and compliance aspects.

  • Identify opportunities for follow-on work and work with management to win the business

  • Actively build business relationships that generate leads

  • Raise solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client

  • Communicate progress and blockers with the client implementation and leadership teams.

  • Communicate regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to meet deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise

  • Develop productive working relationships with client staff

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business.

  • Experience with handling stakeholders and able to communicate well.

    Operational Effectiveness:

  • Ability to confidently articulate information identified for delivery to internal stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and with others; self-directed; take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks. Results-oriented

  • Demonstrated expert level of knowledge in Workday HR Core functions including business process design and configuration, organization structure design and configuration, job catalogue design and configuration and mapping of core data elements.

  • Completion of at least two (preferably three) prior full-cycle Workday implementations serving as lead of a functional area.

  • Demonstrated experience leading client design sessions for at least two prior Workday implementations.

  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience configuring basic Workday security (Domain and Business Process policies, user and role-based security groups, working knowledge of intersection security groups).

  • Working knowledge of Workday reporting

  • Proactively identify client needs and problem technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and support BAU activities.

  • Manage risk, and communicate escalations to both the Deloitte and client teams, in the area of engagement and in alignment with Deloitte policies

  • Consistently
    review and analyse accuracy and quality of deliverables

  • Maintain clear communication channels with engagement team members on work status and utilisation

  • Communicate opportunities for follow-on work to the Business Development team

  • Report resource availability to Business Development team

    Development/Growth of Team:

  • Share expertise and knowledge with team members and assist where possible to ensure quality and timeous delivery of work

  • Monitor the status of certifications within the implementation teams

  • Monitor the quality of delivery against Alliance requirements

  • Mentor junior members of the team in professional and system development

  • Maintain own development and knowledge in specialised area

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 10 years relevant working experience

  • 5 years in a client facing role

  • At least two Workday certifications or equivalent

    Technical competencies

  • Possess foundational knowledge in at least one technical domain (i.e., Job Profiling, Job Evaluation, Job Architecture, Competency Modelling, Performance Management and/or Rewards).

  • Demonstrated Project Management skill.

  • Good report writing skills.

  • Developing breadth in Consulting skills.

  • Ability to develop proposals, points of view, project outcomes to external clients, under more senior team member guidance.

  • Emerging knowledge and understanding of Total Rewards.

  • Business Acumen.

  • Knowledge of Data Analysis and Research techniques.
