Job Description
About the Job:
As an a member of the Pricing Centre of Excellence (PCoE) you will assist the head of the PCoE in assisting the major service offering of Deloitte consulting in providing a central point of contact for strategic pricing expertise and knowledge within Deloitte Consulting. Although price setting is defined within the service offerings, the underlying pricing policy and processes are defined and maintained by the PCoE.
Your Role:
As an analyst in the PCoE team you will perform the following functions:
Assist the head of the PCoE in their objectives and the associated benefit realization
Be the custodian of the pricing tool/processes
Assist in the updating of the pricing tool
Log errors and assist the teams rectify any problems
Field any queries on the pricing tool
Assist the PCoE ensuring that the pricing strategy, policy, process, tools and deliverables are implemented in all service areas and satisfy the expectations of the PCoE
Communication and change management
Manage the PCoE communication so all relevant service area stakeholders are aware of any changes and issues
Assist in driving pricing, packaging and competitor analysis, to translate analysis into effective recommendations to all levels of management
Support service areas in pricing negotiations with clients
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
At least 1 years Business experience
Additional Information
Sound industry and business knowledge
Ability to manage and execute on tasks provided by the Head of the PCoE
Experienced in development
and delivery of professional presentations
Good report writing skills
Fair financial knowledge
Knowledge of financial and commercial modelling would be advantageous
Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential as this position will assist in developing practical, profitable pricing strategies and models
Must have the ability to set priorities, manage a diversity of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and work within deadlines.
Ability to look beyond the short term and demonstrate the viability of long-term strategies
Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skills sets including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic
