Job Description Prepare drink items to specified recipes in the highest quality standards using acceptable best practices in hygiene and safety procedures.
Keep the shop and all equipment used (whether edible or inedible) in a safe manner.
Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and courteous manner and further customer complaints and/concerns.
Manage daily operations of the business and carry out inventory control and attend to customer calls.
Keep a record book of all production & sales made, and remit to the Employer in an accurate & timely manner, all amounts generated from production and sales.
Incorporate all changes and / additions made by the Employer.
Abide by the Employer’s rules, policies
Act professionally at all times and ensure no equipment is damaged.
Any other duty in line with the business/employment as may be assigned by the Employer
Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu and develop new cocktail recipes
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
Take inventory, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions and ensure charges are accurate.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Prepare drink items to specified recipes in the highest quality standards using acceptable best practices in hygiene and safety procedures.
Abide by any other duty in line with the business/employment as may be assigned by the Employer
Ensure bar area is neat and tidy
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an
SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
Proven working experience as a Bartender
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Knowledge of basic math and computer literacy
Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Relevant training certificate (if necessary)
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
An eye for detail and understanding drink mixing tools and techniques
Should be skilled in making cocktails, smoothies, fruit juice, etc.
