Administration Positions

Applicants should:
Have a PhD degree in a relevant field in addition to a Master’s degree.
Have at least (4) years’ experience in an institution of higher learning or research institution at a senior level such as Chairperson of department, Dean/Director of School or Comparable position or as Deputy Registrar in a university.
Have at least four (4) publications in refereed journals and must demonstrate a track record in project monitoring and evaluation.
Have demonstrated experience in preparation of relevant research reports/ data and adequate data
analysis experience.
Have implemented or supervised the implementation of research work and/or been in charge of technology adoption.
Demonstrate capacity in research proposal writing and fundraising.
Experience in integrated approach to scaling up of research and development of commercializable
products will be an added advantage.
Successful candidates will be appointed either on permanent terms or on a five (5) year contract

Requirements
Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Social Sciences or equivalent in addition to Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
He/she should have at least nine (9) years post-masters degree qualifications working experience in an institution of higher learning, research institution, in a government department, public institution or reputable private firm OR have served for at least three (3) years as Senior Assistant Registrar in a university.
Applicants should demonstrate:
Skills in project monitoring and evaluation
Ability to collate, analyse data and prepare relevant research reports
Ability to coordinate production units and marketing of products
Capacity in research proposal writing and fundraising.
In addition, the candidate should have implemented or supervised the implementation of research work and/or been in charge of technology adoption.
