Daystar University is a chartered interdenominational and evangelical Christian University. Its mission is the development of Christian Servant Leaders for the expansion of God's kingdom in Africa and the world.
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions. Applicants to these positions must be committed Christians, who show evidence of involvement in their local churches.
1. Daystar University Senior Lecturer Biomedical Sciences Jobs in Kenya
The purpose of the job is to contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the university by engaging in teaching, training and mentoring students, coaching of lecturers and quality research in line with the institutions guidelines in academic affairs to achieve overall objectives.
Requirements:
• Christian commitment & practice
• Must have an earned a PhD degree or its academic equivalent in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Technology, or a related field from an accredited university
• Minimum of 32 publication points as a lecturer (24 earned from referred scholarly journals);
• Must have taught a minimum of 3 years in a tertiary institution or 6 years research/industry experience
2. Daystar University Internal Auditor Jobs in Kenya
Implementing the audit strategy by auditing the University's policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure risks are identified and recommendations made for compliance while providing an independent and objective assurance that the University's internal controls are adequate and operating effectively.
Requirements:
• Christian commitment & practice
• Master's
• CPA (K)
• Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
3. Daystar University Accounts Assistants Jobs in Kenya - 2 Posts
Receiving and receipting cash, bank deposits and cheques for safe custody and banking ensuring accountability by preparing accurate and timely reconciliation reports.
Ensuring all payments, for both internal and external customers, are processed promptly and correctly; filing of KRA returns and statutory deductions on time to avoid penalties; and proper maintenance of petty cash as per the policy.
Requirements:
• Christian commitment & practice
• Bachelor of Commerce degree
• CPA Part II
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
