Research and statistics

Disaster risk reduction

Gender and development

Humanitarian, peace and security

Institutional capacity assessment

Public health

Agriculture, Livestock and animal health

Water and sanitation (WASH)

Water resources, rangeland drought cycle management

Program assessment and evaluation studies

Governance, policy making support and institutional strengthening

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s university degree in diverse areas of expertise listed or other related fields.

Additional professional training will be an added advantage.

Extensive technical knowledge relevant to the thematic areas

Significant experience in research, monitoring and evaluation field, preferably NGO sector.

Extensive experience working with government structures at national and county levels

Proven ability to communicate research findings clearly and concisely to non-researchers.

Ability to manage projects and deadlines.

Five (5) years’ experience in related thematic areas.

Team-oriented with strong

interpersonal and communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize projects and deliverables.

Experience in Capacity building and development is an added advantage
