QualificationsDiploma in Electrical Engineering Skill in the Installation, Repair and Maintenance of All Types of Electrical System Equipment and Components. Demonstrable Ability to Use Electrical and Hand Tools (E.g. Wire Strippers, Voltmeter Etc.) and Electrical Drawings and Blueprints.
Thorough Knowledge of Safety Procedures and Legal Regulations and Guidelines.
Electrical Technician Will Report to the Maintenance Supervisor Electrical and Will Perform the Following Duties:-
Work as Part of the Engineering Team to Ensure the Smooth Running of the Day to Day Operation of the Production and Ancillary Functions.
Prevent Breakdown of Systems by Routinely Inspecting and Replacing Old Wiring and Insulated Cables, Cleaning Circuits Etc.
Perform Effective Troubleshooting to Identify Hazards or Malfunctions and Repair or Substitute Damaged Units.
Installs, Repairs, and Maintains Motors, Transformers, Generators, Lights, Appliances, Circuits, Wiring, and Other Electrical System Equipment.
Experience:
At Least 2 Years Working Experience as an Electrical Technician in a Food Processing Company.
Those Who Have Exposure in Dairy Processing Company Will Have an Advantage.
Additional Attributes:
Operates a Variety of Electrical Testing Equipment in Locating and Determining Types of Electrical Malfunctions.
Studies Plans, Drawings, Specifications, and Work Orders to Determine Work Requirement and Sequence of Repairs and/or Installations.
Repairs and Maintains High Voltage
Systems.
To Ensure That All the Plant Operates at Optimum Efficiency and Effectiveness at All Times. To Undertake Planned, Preventative and Re-active Maintenance of Dairy Industry Equipment, Ranging From Automatic Dairy Specific Pasteurization and Processing to Dairy Milk Packaging Equipment and to More Generic Equipment, E.g. Steam Boilers and Refrigeration Systems.
To Work Hand in Hand With Other Departments to Ensure Production of Quality, Cost Effective Product, Whilst Abiding by All Statutory Requirements and Company Policies.
To Work as Part of the Team to Ensure That Quality, Haccp and Safety Standards Are Met to Produce the Highest Quality Products and Services to Internal and External Customer
