Dairy Company Assistant General Manager Kenya Jobs
Our client is a well established dairy company with well known brands which are household favorites. They wish to recruit a dynamic Assistant General Manager to further strengthen the company operations. KEY
ResponsibilitiesProviding leadership and strategic direction in developing organization and financial plans with the General Manager and carry out plans and policies as authorized by the board.
Undertake the day to day management of long term affairs
Facilitating and recommending to the General Manager the long term strategies, business plans and annual operating budgets and establishing proper internal monitoring and control systems and procedures.
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically support better management reporting, information flow.
Undertake business process reorganization and participate in organizational planning. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, ICT and Finance) through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions. Management of budget in coordination with the General Manager
Development of individual program budgets Disbursement of cheques for expenses Supervise and follow up on logical management
Ensuring the expenditures are within the authorized annual budget
Person Profile
A Masters degree in any of the following fields; Strategic management, Business Administration Management, Human Resource Management, Finance or related
field from a recognized university
Must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following fields, strategic management, business administration, management, Human Resource management, Finance or equivalent form a recognized university
At least 12 years experience in managerial capacity with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in large organizations or commercial and manufacturing operations
Strong leadership, team player and organizational skills
Experience in strategic planning and execution at a senior level
Knowledge of performance contracting, negotiating and change management
