Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage a dynamic individual for Customs Logistics Executive position for one of our clients
Duties
Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels.
Maintain a good rapport with government bodies (KRA, MoF, MoE) and other stakeholders concerned with matters relating to customs, resolving any issues arising.
Maintain a good rapport with government bodies (KRA, MoF, MoE) and other stakeholders concerned with matters relating to customs, resolving any issues arising.
Follow up with port supervisors on online reports upon shipments clearance.
Solving cases relating to Customs valuations and pricing.
Any other work assigned by the management
Act as the first focal point of contact in resolving all queries and correspondences relating to customs, reconcile requests and ensure formal conclusion and communication of the same to the relevant persons.
Maintain a good rapport with government bodies (KRA, MoF, MoE) and other stakeholders concerned with matters relating to customs, resolving any issues arising.
Responsible for monthly and annual cost accounting, management analysis and summary report of logistics department
Responsible for import
and export operations, collaboration and communication with national contractors, logistics companies, customs and other departments.
Review logistics contracts and logistics companies to develop and manage, establish good relations of cooperation
Organize and analyze the logistics data to provide decision-making recommendations for the general manager.
Avoiding risks and ensuring the safety of company operations
Qualifications:
Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
Atleast two years’ work experience in Customs Clearance and Customs Bonds Management.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Excellent computer skills;
Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
