Overview of PositionCTG is looking for qualified staff as per TOR below
Role Objectives
Receive, inspect & verify all incoming equipment & supplies.
Ensure all ICT equipment is properly bar coded & entered into the UN ERP inventory management system.
Prepare equipment & schedule deliveries to users.
Maintain inventory records.
Coordinate with the UN local property offices any equipment adds, moves, or changes.
Coordinate
with other UN offices for replacement of defective & / or out of warranty equipment.
Conduct physical inventories of all computer equipment, individual components, spare parts & IT tangible assets at UN locations.
Scrub data from hard drives contained in excess equipment.
Assist in preparing documents to excess property.
Assist in the disposal of excess & outdated property.
Project Reporting
Reports to the line manager
Key Competencies
High School Diploma / Associate’s Degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Minimal 5 year experience in asset management & reporting.
Ability to provide a professional interface with the user community.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Proven ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work outside normal working hours if required.
Knowledge of office management systems & procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Team Management
