County Public Service Board of Nyandarua Ward Administrator Jobs in Kenya

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Conflict Management, Community Development or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
and

Certificate in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and document existing networks and linkages with the relevant stakeholders;

Handling public concerns and issues;

Identifying community projects in the Ward level in consultation with stakeholders;

Monitoring and evaluating community projects;

Coordinating mobilization of resources at the Ward level;

Facilitating citizen participation in development activities;

Overseeing occupational health and safety issues;

Promoting ethics and principles of good governance;

Analyzing and compiling data on developmental activities;

Liaising with stakeholders in organizing citizen public participation fora

Recommend recipients of the humanitarian and emergency assistance to the responsible committees.

Coordinate the distributions of the relief and emergency assistance.

Supervision of village administrators.
