Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, the officer must have:

At least two (2) years’ experience in Youth affairs,

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Anthropology, Sociology, Social Work, Gender and Development, Culture and Development, Social Development, or any other related field from a recognized institution;

Certificate in Computer Applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement youth - friendly programmes;

Organize and register youth groups;

Guide the youth groups in proposal writing skills;

Identify recipients of the Youth Development Fund;

Develop youth entrepreneurial policies;

Provide leadership in the management of youth groups.
