County Public Service Board of Nyandarua Senior Records Management Officer Jobs in Kenya


Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Experience of at least of four (4) years in records management;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Records Management or any other relevant qualification from a recognised institution;

  • Certificate in a Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;

  • Certificate in Computer Applications; and

  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Records Management Policy for the Board;

  • Formulate records management strategies for proper records management;

  • Support the County information management systems;

  • Establish a records centre;

  • Review and update file indexing;

  • Transform and implement an electronic data management system;

  • Develop and implement a records security policy;

  • Update the records storage and retrieval systems; and

  • Advise on disposal of obsolete records.
