County Public Service Board of Nyandarua Senior Legal Officer Jobs in Kenya


Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution

  • Diploma (post graduate) from the Kenya School of Law;

  • Experience in legislative drafting from a reputable institution;

  • Proficiency in computer applications; and

  • Possess legal research skills;

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drafting research findings;

  • Reviewing county legislations;

  • Advising on various legal policies;

  • Drafting, review and negotiation of legal documents, agreements, contracts and MoUs;

  • Undertaking legal research on policies, procedures and other assigned legal issues;

  • Undertaking guided drafting;

  • Review of court pleadings;

  • Attending case management meetings;

  • Filing and service court pleadings;

  • Representing county in court.
