Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

Served as a Human Resource Management Officer for a minimum period of two (2) years;

Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management /Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution;

Be a registered member with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM);

Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Handling human resource matters within the established policies and regulations;

Handling employees discipline, promotion and re-designation matters;

Preparations and implementation of the County Human Resource Management Advisory Committee matters;

Preparation of Training Needs Assessment and Training Projections for all Departments; and

Analyzing human resource issues and data from Departments.
