Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

Have a Diploma in any of the following areas: Urban and Regional Planning, Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Building, Civil Engineering, Cartography, Geo-Informatics, Geographic information Systems (GIS) from a recognized institution;

Demonstrate skills on the area of design, presentation and technical skills;

Have Proficiency with AutoCAD and ArchiCAD;

Have a Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution;

Demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out drawing tasks;

Collecting and analyzing geographical data for preparing development plans;

Digitizing Physical Development plans;

Drawing physical development plans;

Updating plans;

Conducting site inspection; and

Any other duties that may be assigned by the County Director of Physical Planning
