County Public Service Board of Nyandarua Land Surveyor Jobs in Kenya

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Land Surveying and Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geomatics Engineering, Technology in Geomatics,
Geo-spatial Engineering, Philosophy in Technology (Survey), or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution;

Be a registered member of a relevant professional body;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Good inter-personal and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out angular and distance measurements, computation for medium
and high density cadastral, topographical, engineering and sub-divisional schemes;

Planning and implementing survey programmes;

Review and up-date geospatial data for use by other agencies;

Ensure the safety of survey records, tools and equipment; and

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.
