Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, Estate Management, Property Management and Valuation, Facilities Management, Building Economics, Architecture, Regional Development/Urban Planning, Building/Construction Management, or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized university;

  • Be a Registered member of a relevant professional body;

  • Have Proficiency in computer applications; and

  • Have good inter-personal and communication skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review housing registers;

  • Manage office accommodation;

  • Housing Administration and supervision;

  • Preparation of inspection reports;

  • Collection of rent from occupants of government quarters and facilitating for payments of rent for leased properties;

  • Inventory management and Rental assessments; and

  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the County Director of Housing and Urban development.
