Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

At least four (4) years’ experience in Gender Affairs.

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Arts, Science, Anthropology, History, Political Science, Sociology or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution;

Certificate in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Enhance and promote equality and equity among women, men, girls and boys;

Liaise with institutions to effectively serve women, men, boys and girls equally;

Building and sustaining partnerships for gender equity and equality;

Update empirical knowledge on gender practices, norms and practices within the County.
