County of Nyandarua Attorney Job Vacancies in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Policing on Administration of Justice and Rule of Law;

Legal Policy Management;

Legal aid;

Principal legal advisor to the County Government;

Anti-Corruption strategies, integrity and ethics;

Constitutional implementation;

Legislative drafting;

Drafting and vetting of agreement; and

Matters related to legal profession.

Requirements of Application

Be a Kenyan Citizen;

Have a Bachelor degree in a related field;

Possession of Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage;

Have vast knowledge and experience of not less than 7 years in senior positions in the public service or private sector;

Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development and objectives;

Be a strategic thinker and result oriented;

Have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;

Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;

Be conversant with relevant National and County legislation;

Member of a professional association;

Have a working experience and knowledge of using computers;

Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles espoused in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;

Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya;

Applications should include a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), and copies of the following documents:

National identity card or passport;

Academic and professional certificates and testimonials;

Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loan Board (HELB),

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Criminal

Investigation Department (CID), Ethics and

AntiCorruption Commission (EACC), and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB);

Any other relevant supporting documents.
