County Government of Vihiga Investment Officers Jobs

Vihiga County Public Service Board is a Body corporate established under section 57 of the County Government Act 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Section 59 of the County Government Act 2012 outlines the functions of the Board.

Pursuant to Constitution and Legal provisions Vihiga County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified persons for the following position:

Investment Officers

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain current knowledge about financial products available for the department and its
customers.

Maintain reports about financial and investment opportunities and programs.

Develop reports on market situations analysis and departmental decisions.

Develop relationship with customers and expand customer network in professional and social
settings.

Attend investor and departmental meetings.

Prepare quarterly investment reports indicating performance statistics.

Conduct customer presentations on specific investment options.

Collate the macro and micro economic conditions and prepare a report.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance option) or Bachelor of Economics or Entrepreneurship
or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Skills in Product knowledge, market research, business intelligence, financial reporting,
investment advice and research planning;

Good communication skills;

A year and above working experience in a relevant field;

Certificate in Computer

Satisfy the requirements of

Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
