County Government of Tana River Physiotherapist Kenya Jobs

The County Public Service Board of Tana River in collaboration with the department of Health and Sanitation pursuant to section 66 of the County Government Act of 2012 wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions in the County Public Service:

Terms of service:

All positions shall be on Permanent and pensionable terms of service.

Remuneration:

As prescribed by Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)

Duties and responsibilities

Providing physiotherapy services to patients in an out-patient unit/ ward/health institution;

Assessing patients’ needs including rehabilitation;

Colleting, verifying and maintaining information related to patients;

Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated
treatment plan;

Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy services;

Preparing periodic reports; and

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution;

Certificate of registration from the physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK);

Current certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK); and

Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution;
