County Government of Tana River Orthopedic Trauma Technologist Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities

*Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocation;

*Fixing and removing cast, bandages and tractions to and from patients;

*Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V);

*Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopedic trauma;

*Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma;

*Documenting orthopedic and trauma cases;

*Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions;

*Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirement for Appointment

*A diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution;

*Practicing license from the Kenya Orthopedic Association (KOA);

*Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
