County Government of Tana River Nutrition and Dietetics Technologist Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:

*Implementing nutrition assessment;

*Collecting and compiling nutrition data;

*Providing nutrition health education and demonstration;

*Counseling of patients with specific nutritional needs;

*Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeding programmes;

*Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes;

*Providing micronutrient supplementation;

*Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

*Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from recognized institution;

*Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionist and Dieticians CIND; and
Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
