County Government of Tana River Medical Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities

*Diagnosis, caring and treating diseases;

*Performing medical and surgical procedures;

*Preparing and responding to emergencies and disasters;

*Participating in management of medicine, medical instrument and equipment;

*Providing health education;

*Maintaining medical records, health information and data;

*Coaching medical students nursing students and clinical officer interns;

*Preparing requisite document for registration

*Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an applicant must have:

*A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch. B) degree from a recognized university in Kenya;

*Successfully completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution;

*A license of registration from the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board;

*A valid practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board; and

*Certificate in computer application skills from recognized institution.
