County Government of Tana River Clinical Officer Kenya Jobs

The County Public Service Board of Tana River in collaboration with the department of Health and Sanitation pursuant to section 66 of the County Government Act of 2012 wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions in the County Public Service:

Terms of service:

All positions shall be on Permanent and pensionable terms of service.

Remuneration:

As prescribed by Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out history taking, examination, diagnosing, treating and managing diseases and conditions in an out-patient and in-patient Health facility;

Implementing community health care activities in liaison with other health workers;

Guiding and counselling patients, clients and staff on health issues;

Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health;

Carryout minor surgical procedures as per the training and skill;

Collecting and compiling clinical data and referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities; and

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment:

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution;

Must have a certificate of Registration from Clinical Officers’ Council;

Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution;
