    Requirements for Appointment

  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen
  • Bachelor of pharmacy degree from a recognised institution, recognised by Pharmacy
    And Poisons Board of Kenya
  • Successfully completed one-year internship from a recognised institution
  • Registered with pharmacy and poisons board
  • Certificate in computer application skills from recognised institution.
  • Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Screening prescriptions for legal validity,
  • drug contraindications,
  • drug interactions,
  • appropriateness of dose;
  • identifying medical gaps and challenges;
  • maintaining a daily activity log book for recording all activities;
  • recommending otc medicines to patients/clients with simple medical conditions and making necessary referrals;
  • Outreach clinics in the county hospitals;
  • Assist in the policy formulization

  • Candidates must attach a clear copy of their national identity card or valid passport.
  • Candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of chapter 6 by obtaining Clearance from
    HELB, DCI, KRA, CRB and EACC.
  • The applications with copies of academic and professional certificates and other
    testimonials should reach the County Public Service Board on or before Friday 16th
    November 2018.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
  • Youth, women and persons with special needs are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates found canvassing will automatically be disqualified.
