County Government of Siaya REF: SCPSB/2/3/2018 Director of Supply Chain Management - JG ‘‘R’’ (CPSB 03) Vacancies

Responsibilities

The Director of Supply Chain Management will be the overall in–charge of procurement and stores in the executive arm of the County Government of Siaya.

Requirements for Appointment

Must be a Kenyan Citizen

Bachelors’ degree in supply chain management or relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Master degree in any of the following: Procurement and supply management, Business administration, commerce, logistics and supply chain management or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution

Be a registered member of Kenya Institute of Supply Chain Management (KISM) with a valid practicing license.

Have at least 7 years working experience 3 of which must be at a senior management level

Certificate in Strategic leadership development course or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Proficiency in computer applications

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010

Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will assist the Chief Officer, Finance and Planning in control and overall operations of the Department of Finance and Planning of the County Government of Siaya.

Requirements for Appointment

Must be a Kenyan Citizen

Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting or finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option) or any other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Passed Part III of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination or its recognized equivalent.

Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Have at least 7 years relevant working experience 3 of which must be at a senior management level.

Certificate in computer proficiency

County Government of Siaya REF: SCPSB/6/3/2018 Supply Chain Management Assistant III – J.G ‘H’ (CPSB 11) Vacancies

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Management Assistant III will assist in processing of procurement requests and /or management of stores.

Requirements for Appointment

Must be a Kenyan citizen

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) with a minimum of C- in -Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution:

Diploma in Supply chain management or its relevant equivalent from a recognized institution.

Member of Kenya institute of supply chain management (KISM)

Proficiency certificate in computer applications

Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010

All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents

Tax compliance certificates

Clearance from HELB where necessary

Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission

Clearance from the CRB.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
