County Government of Siaya Resident Obstetrician - Gynecologist Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and implementation of care in area of specialization within the facility and for the county

Provide expert opinion in case management

Advise on medical and medical administrative problems

Teaching supervision and mentorship of interns and other team members within the confines of specialty

Set up and control specialist units/clinics

Participation in quality assurance and improvement of services in area of specialization

Coordinating emergency response and clinical care

Provision of forensic and medico-legal services

Developing medical Standard Operating Procedures(SOP)

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen

Be a holder of a basic degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB) or its equivalent from a recognized University

Have obtained a master's degree (MMed) or its equivalent in the relevant area of specialty from a recognized University

Have certificate of registration by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists' Board

Have valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists' Board

Additional Requirements

All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents

Tax compliance certificates

Clearance

from HELB where necessary

Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission

Clearance from the CRB.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
