(a) Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Officer will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: -


  • Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of streets


  • Collecting and loading of refuse into garbage trucks


  • Manning of gates in the designated dumpsites


  • Cleaning of drains and clearing bushes


  • Cleaning and maintenance of sanitary facilities


  • Cleaning and maintenance of working tools and equipment


  • Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor

    (b) Requirements for Appointment


  • For Appointment to this grade, an officer must have:


  • Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)


  • KCPE and KCSE Certificate with a mean grade of D plain.


  • A medical certificate from a duly registered and licensed Medical Doctor
    from a Government Hospital.
