County Government of Migori Livestock Production Officer III Jobs Kenya

Migori County Public Service Board is a Body corporate established under section 57 of the County Government Act 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Section 59 of the County Government Act 2012 outlines the functions of the Board, pursuant to Constitutional and Legal provisions, Migori County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill twelve (12) vacancies of Member, Isebania, Rongo and Awendo Municipalities pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 under Article 184 (1) (b) and County Government Act sections 49, 58 and 63 and as provided in the Urban Areas and Cities Act (No. 13 of 2011) section 13(2).

Terms of service:

Permanent

The Officers will be deployed to the Sub-County Livestock Production Office as Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordination of ward livestock production activities

Undertaking livestock production extension activities

Receiving and compiling livestock production statistical data

Analyzing livestock production data and preparing reports

Promotion of livestock products, marketing and value addition

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor of Science in any of the following:-Animal Production, Range Management,
Agriculture, Agriculture Extension and Education, Natural Resources Management, Diary
Technology, Food Science and Technology

Certificate in Computer application from a recognized institution

Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

located at Msomi Teachers’ College on Migori/Isebania Highway.

All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Monday December 17th, 2018 at 5:00pm

Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.

For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:

Tax compliance certificate from KRA

Clearance certificate from HELB

Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)

Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
