County Government of Migori Assistant Livestock Production Officer I Jobs Kenya

Migori County Public Service Board is a Body corporate established under section 57 of the County Government Act 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Section 59 of the County Government Act 2012 outlines the functions of the Board, pursuant to Constitutional and Legal provisions, Migori County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill twelve (12) vacancies of Member, Isebania, Rongo and Awendo Municipalities pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 under Article 184 (1) (b) and County Government Act sections 49, 58 and 63 and as provided in the Urban Areas and Cities Act (No. 13 of 2011) section 13(2).

Terms of service:

Permanent

The Officers will be deployed at the ward level and will be reporting to the Sub County Livestock Production Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordination of village livestock production Officers

Delivery of Livestock Production extension services on all livestock production enterprises

Conducting Field days

Demonstration and training of livestock producers

Collecting and compiling livestock production statistical data

Monitor and reporting on livestock marketing and value addition at ward level

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen

Be in possession of Diploma in any of the following:- Animal Production and Health , Animal
Production, Range Management, Dairy Technology, General Agriculture, Food Science and
Technology, from a recognized institution.

Certificate in Computer application from a recognized institution

Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board
located at Msomi Teachers’ College on Migori/Isebania Highway.

All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Monday December 17th, 2018 at 5:00pm

Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.

For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:

Tax compliance certificate from KRA

Clearance certificate from HELB

Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)

Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
