County Government of Marsabit Members - Jobs in Kenya
Pursuant to Section 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act No 17 of 2012 Section 58, the County Government of Marsabit wishes to recruit competent and qualified person(s) to fill the following position in the Marsabit County Public Service Board:-

Qualification and Requirements
For appointment to these positions the candidate must:
Be a Kenyan citizen
Be a holder of a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya
Satisfy the requirement of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct.
Not be a public or a state officer.
Understand the diversity within the County
Be capable of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Be a visionary and strategic thinker
Be committed to be part of a team that will enable the County Government achieve her vision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and abolish offices in the County Public Service
Appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service including in the Boards of cities and urban areas within the county and to confirm appointments
Exercise disciplinary control over and remove persons holding or acting in those offices as provided for under Section 59 (1) of the County Government Act
Prepare regular reports for submissions to the County Assembly on the execution of the functions of the Board.
Promote the County Public Service on the values and principles referred to in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Evaluate and report to the County Assembly on the execution of the functions of the Board.
Facilitate the development of coherent integrated Human Resource Planning and Budgeting for personnel emolument in the County
Advise the County Government on Human Resource Management and Development
Advise the County Government on implementation and monitoring of the national performance management system in the county.
Make recommendation to the Public Service Commission on behalf of the
county government on the remuneration, pensions and gratuities for county public service employees.
In addition to the above requirements, each of the positions shall:
Member
Have a working experience of not less than five years.
NB: A master's degree will be an added advantage in each of the three positions above

Higher Education Loans Board
Kenya Revenue Authority
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB):
Applicants Must submit copies of these clearance certificates together with the application.
Remuneration will be commensurate with those published by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission
