County Government of Machakos Buildings Superintendent II Jobs in Kenya

Assembly Service Board of Machakos invites applications from suitably Kenyan citizens to fill the following vacant positions.

  • Buildings Superintendent II

    Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acts as an inspector of works on behalf of Machakos County Assembly
  • Monitor and review the work of contractors and other personelle assigned to the
    construction project
  • Reading and interpreting architectural drawing and BOQS
  • Ensuring that the specifications and standards are adhered to during construction
  • Preparation of the monthly physical progress reports of the project.
  • Ensure the constructions work schedules are maintained.
  • Such other relevant duties as may be assigned by the County Assembly Service Board

    For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have a minimum of the following:
  • Served in the grade of Buildings Superintendent II, or in a comparable position for a minimum period of two (2) years;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
  • National Ordinary Diploma in Building Construction or Civil Engineering from the Kenya National Examinations Council, or other approved equivalent qualification with more than Three (3) years wide experience in all areas of building construction and maintenance
  • Proficiency in computer application skills

  • Higher Education Loans Board
  • Kenya Revenue Authority
  • Credit Reference Bureau
