County Government of Kilifi Jobs - Call for Applications - Chairperson of the Valuation Court

Pursuant to the provision of the Kilifi County Valuation For Rating Act No. 8 of 2016. section 12. the County Government of Kilifi invites applications from qualified persons for the positions of five (5) members to the Valuation Court.

Responsibilities

Chairing meetings of the Valuation court

Hearing and Determinations of all objections lodged against the Draft Valuation Roll

Ensuring reports are prepared for submission to the Chief Officer Lands regarding all the objections heard and determined

Requirements

An advocate of the High court of not less than 5 years standing/or magistrate having power to hold a subordinate court of the first class

Extensive knowledge on land matters and land sector

Experience in assignments similar to this activity

Must be a Kenyan citizen

Satisfies the provisions of chapter six of the constitution

Terms of service: One (1) month renewable contract. Allowances: payable as per the salaries and Remuneration Commission circulars

Kilifi County Public Service Board Offices.

For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya. all applicants must obtain the following:

Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority

Clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board

Clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti - Corruption Commission

Certificate of Good Conduct

Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau
