County Government of Kakamega Ward Administrators Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

The Officer will report to the Sub-County Administrator and duties and responsibilities will entail:

Coordinate, manage and supervise the general administrative functions in Ward unit;

Implement County Government of Kakamega policies and plans;

Liaise with National Government staff at the Ward level;

Implement, monitor and evaluate performance management systems;

Coordinate developmental activities to empower the community;

Provide and maintain infrastructure and facilities for public service;

Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services; and

Exercise functions and powers delegated by the Department of Public Service & Administration.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must:

Be a Kenyan citizen;

Have a Bachelor’s degree from a University recognized in Kenya preferably in Social Sciences, with a working experience of not less than five (5) years in administration or management;

Have knowledge in administration or management;

Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development objectives and Vision 2030;

Demonstrate understanding and commitment to tenets of Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;

Demonstrate high integrity, good communication skills, interpersonal relationship and be a team player; and

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 on Leadership and Integrity
