County Government of Kakamega Co-operative Officer Jobs Kenya


Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012, the County
Government of Kakamega invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions:-

This is the entry and training grade for Degree holders.

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforcing the co-operative legislation;
  • Advising societies on proper conduct of meetings;
  • Implementing co-operative development policies ;
  • Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade a candidate must:-

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
  • Have Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Co-operative management, Business
    Administration, Sociology, Law, Commerce, Entrepreneurship; Management and Organizational
    Development or Economics (Lower 2nd ) from a recognized institution;
  • Have a Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
  • Meet the requirements of Articles 10, 232 and Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
