County Government of Kakamega Assistant Engineers II (Water and Sewerage) Jobs in Kenya


Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

  • An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

    Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out feasibility studies;

  • Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures;

  • Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems; and

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must:

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering from a recognized institution;

  • Be registered by the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer; and

  • Have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
