County Government of Kakamega Administrative Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Undertake General Office Administration;

Handle Public Complaints;

Compile Returns, daily operational and incidental reports;

Collect and collate data for preparation of speech briefs, report writing and updating biodata;

Assist in organizing meetings and meeting rooms;

Assist in scheduling and planning county events;

Transport management for the Department;

Supervise junior staff and their performance;

Participate in the development of policies and plans;

Perform other general administrative duties as assigned; and

Undertake any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this position, an officer must:-

Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Services, preferably in Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology or related field from a university recognized in Kenya; Possess a strong analytical background with problem solving skills;

Demonstrate ability to meet strict timelines, and complete tasks/reports effectively; and

Demonstrate ability to collect and collate intelligence related information.
