County Government of Bomet Senior Superintending Engineer (Water and Irrigation) Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the officer in charge he/she will be responsible for: -

  • Undertaking studies and designs of new water projects within the sub-county/county.
  • Preparation of sub-county budgets and work plans.
  • Implementation of sub-county water programmes.
  • Compilation of sub-county reports as frequently as may be required.
  • Representing the department in all sub-county forums.
  • Supervise and coordinate implementation of all water projects within the sub-county.
  • Ensuring public participation in Government service delivery.
  • Interacting with other Government organs to ensure smooth service delivery of water services.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university
  • Be registrable with the Institute for Engineers of Kenya as corporate member
  • Be registrable by the Engineers Board of Kenya
  • Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative ability required at this level
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
