County Government of Bomet Principal Forestry Officer Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the officer in charge he/she will: -

  • Implement and coordination of county agro-forestry program and projects at the county level.
  • Prepare of forestry budgets and work plans.
  • Implement and evaluate of strategic plans management and conservation of conservation sites within the county.
  • Compile county forestry reports.
  • Represent the department in all county forums.
  • Offer advisory and extension services to community associations at the county level.
  • Ensure public participation in Government service delivery.
  • Coordinate of urban forestry program in the county
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in the relevant area
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience
  • Be registered with the Forest Societies of Kenya as corporate member.
  • Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative ability required at this level.

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
