County Government of Bomet Co-operative Auditor Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Co-operatives, the officer will be responsible for:-

  • Observing and Preparing Primary Audits and Inspections on Cooperative societies
  • Preparing reports/Queries Financial Statements on Co-operative Societies
  • Preparing detailed Audit reports on Periodical financial returns for Cooperative
    societies
  • Estimating of income and expenditure and advise on Co-operative investment returns
  • Inspection of Co-operatives.
  • Collating, evaluating and documenting audit evidence
  • Ensuring compliance on the policies and procedures that governs the registration and operations of cooperatives and microfinance groups.
  • Performing any other duty assigned.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Disciplines; Commerce (Accounting and Finance), Business Administration, Economics,
    statistics, Business or Co-operative Management.
  • Holder of CPA qualification and register ICPAK member of good standing
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
