County Government of Bomet Community Health Assistant III Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the officer in Charge, he/she will: -

  • Coordinate a community unit (CU)
  • Collect health-related data at household level for analysis
  • Identify common ailments and minor injuries at community level
  • Identify and referral of health cases to appropriate health facilities
  • Visit homes to sensitize the community on health interventions
  • Monitor the growth of children under 5 years of age
  • Identify defaulters of health interventions and referring them to appropriate health facility.
  • Facilitate, train and develop community health volunteers/workers and members of community health committees
  • Any other duties assigned

    Requirements

  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Community health, Environmental health, Health promotion and education.
  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant experience

    Terms of service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
