County Government of Bomet Assistant Director/Marketing & Value addition Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to Director Cooperatives, Marketing and Value addition, the officer will be responsible for:-

  • Assisting in implementation of value addition policy and strategies at
    the county
  • Assisting in designing of the value addition processing records & financial Controls for the Value addition activities in the county.
  • Assisting in developing annual work plan and budget on value addition.
  • Coordinating and supervising Value addition quality assurance in value addition centers.
  • Assisting in facilitating partnerships with other providers within the county to enable access to value chain/addition activities
  • Preparing quarterly, semiannual and annual reports on value addition
  • Performing any other function assigned

    Requirements

  • Be a holder of bachelor’s degree in Agro-Processing Engineering, Agribusiness Management, Business Management or related
    discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Masters degree in related field will be an added advantage
  • Minimum five (5) years relevant experience.

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
