County Government of Bomet Assistant Director /Gender Jobs in Kenya

The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the officer in charge he/she will: -

Coordinate, collect and development of gender disaggregated data

Facilitate gender mainstreaming activities and promoting gender socio-economic empowerment

Monitor gender mainstreaming and socio-economic empowerment projects and programmes such as Female Genital Mutilation,
Sexual and Gender Based Violence and establishing the level of compliance on the 1/3 gender rule

Engage with partners and stakeholders on Gender related matters

Requirements

For appointment to the grade, a candidate must have:

Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Sociology,
Business Administration (Finance/ Entrepreneurship Option), Anthropology, Counseling and Psychology, Economics, Law or any other relevant Social Science from a university recognized in Kenya;

Minimum five (5) years relevant experience

Demonstrated professional competence as reflected in work performance and results.

Terms of Service:

Permanent and Pensionable
