Our client is a world-leading and advanced video surveillance solution provider. They are looking to hire a Project Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners or distributors and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop project-type customers, including project consultants, integrators, end-users;

  • Follow up on project progress in real time and effectively coordinate the company’s internal resources to promote the completion of the project;

  • Provide customers with support for pre-sale service, cease to delivery phase of the project;

  • Based on the company’s solution roadmap update, regularly formulate new solution promotion strategies and accordingly develop new industry to create business opportunities.

  • Creating and maintaining sales goals as well as forecasting future sales trends

  • Coordinating with other departments within a company, such as marketing or finance, to ensure that all relevant parties have been informed of the project’s status

  • Developing and managing budgets for each project while accounting for all costs

  • Working with clients to define their needs and goals in order to create effective solutions to meet their requirements

  • Developing proposals that detail products or services that meet client needs, outlining pricing information and terms of sale

  • Resolving customer service issues by communicating with clients to explain product features and benefits and answering any questions about products or services

  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients and determine their needs

  • Coordinating with outside vendors to obtain products or
    services from them such as printing materials, arranging travel, etc.

  • Reporting on project status to upper management and keeping them informed about any delays or issues with the project

    Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

  • Sales experience of project sales above 10 years

  • Have good interpersonal relationships and communication skills, keen market induction ability and strong response capabilities.

  • To understand the Kenya ICT market in-depth, have rich customer resources;

  • Have great relationships with various Kenya government departments.

  • Familiar with enterprise bidding/tendering procedures

  • Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
