Corporate Staffing Services Advisor in Capacity Development and Financial Education Jobs in Kenya

Our Client is German NGO organization that focuses on the development of the microfinance sector.

They seek to hire a skilled advisor and trainer for this project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, improve and evaluate capacity development and financial education programs, e.g. elaborate concepts for training of trainers, develop training materials and curricula
  • Provide advice and support to the partner organizations and their member institutions regarding capacity development and financial education activities
  • Organize and facilitate the exchange of experiences, ideas and achievements between the capacity development teams within and its partner organizations in the Eastern African countries
  • Prepare the terms of reference for the recruitment of trainers
  • Organize study trips, meetings, workshops and seminars
  • Manage training logistics including the preparation of training material etc.
  • Ensure constant contact with the partner organizations

    Qualifications
  • Have at least a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance and education or any other degree deemed equivalent
  • At least three years’ experience in the microfinance sector and in the adult education sector
  • Have proven expertise in entrepreneurship, capacity building and financial education
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent training and communication skills
  • Relational and organizational skills with a good sense for prioritization
  • Speak fluently English and Kiswahili; French is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • The main work
    location for the Adviser Capacity Development and Financial Education will be Nairobi.
  • Missions to other locations in Kenya are common.
  • Trips to other countries in Eastern Africa, especially Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania might occur occasionally.
