Financial ManagementAssist the Programme Manager – Emergency Preparedness and Response with the day-to-day management of the administration and finances of the programme
Conduct cost and budget analysis, ensuring shared office/logistics/HR costs of the programme are allocated equitably among the other cost center's/departments supporting the programme.
Take the lead, in liaison with the Programme Manager-EPR, with budget preparation and ensure compliance with donor regulations and Cordaid procedures.
Monitoring Donor Compliance
Ensures that all donor transactions are captured in the EPR accounting system.
In liaison with the Programme Manager EPR ensure that all transactions are on budget and that all activities are in line with donor agreement.
Ensure that all changes to project activities are consistent with donor requirements
Qualifications, skills and competencies
University Degree in Accounting, Finance / Business Administration.
Minimum of 3 years work experience working in INGOs.
Excellent understanding of humanitarian financial management processes, donor regulations and procedures.
Strong Financial management skills
