Financial Management

  • Assist the Programme Manager – Emergency Preparedness and Response with the day-to-day management of the administration and finances of the programme
  • Conduct cost and budget analysis, ensuring shared office/logistics/HR costs of the programme are allocated equitably among the other cost center's/departments supporting the programme.
  • Take the lead, in liaison with the Programme Manager-EPR, with budget preparation and ensure compliance with donor regulations and Cordaid procedures.

    Monitoring Donor Compliance

  • Ensures that all donor transactions are captured in the EPR accounting system.
  • In liaison with the Programme Manager EPR ensure that all transactions are on budget and that all activities are in line with donor agreement.
  • Ensure that all changes to project activities are consistent with donor requirements

    Qualifications, skills and competencies

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance / Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience working in INGOs.
  • Excellent understanding of humanitarian financial management processes, donor regulations and procedures.
  • Strong Financial management skills
