RoleAs a site engineer, you will manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert.

The Site Engineer's responsibilities will include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising team members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports.
Should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines.
General
Direct and coordinate activities of the quality and measurement department.
Provide leadership, supervise staff and preparation of work schedules
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures,
conferring with division head, other managers and staff members as necessary.
Ensure that staff in the department are fully engaged and any emerging disciplinary issues are dealt with promptly and decisively.
To regularly and systematically check standards and identify action for improvement.
To have a working knowledge of all aspects of the business and maintain constant
involvement of self in tasks.
To encourage a proactive culture to minimise all customer complaints.
To develop a culture to ensure consistent excellence in customer service.
To produce, in liaison with the Divisional head, an annual business plan for the unit
identifying key areas for growth and financial improvement.
To ensure rigorous systems of financial control and management are in place and that all key financial targets are met.
To be fully involved
in the interpretation and delivery of the corporate strategy as it relates to their unit ensuring effective feedback to the Executive Team as appropriate.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly quarterly and annual reports to the Head of Division and any variance must be explained.
To prepare detailed monthly reports to the Head of division of the divisions activities on or before the 5th of every month.
Education and Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a two –three years’ experience
Diploma in project management will be an added advantage.
Diploma in civil engineering with over 5 years’ experience
Experience in roads construction will be an added advantage
knowledge of relevant software
