Job PurposeTo support the human resources manager in all hr related matters to ensure a highly motivated employees, highly productive and disciplined workforce.
You will be responsible for administrative
tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Human resources
Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing,
recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves,
etc)
Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
Overseeing employee health and safety procedures
Organizing and managing new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
Contacting applicants references
Performing criminal background checks required by company
Explaining and providing information on employee benefits, programs, and education
Maintaining employee records and HR records
Answering employee questions and addressing employee concerns with company
Reviewing procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and
managing
the hiring process
21)Updating job requirements when needed
Education and Experience
Diploma in HR, social studies or relevant field, with a diploma in HR
HR diploma with one year experience
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
Proficient in MS Office;
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Strong ethics and reliability
